"soldiering On' at Puke Ariki museum

For one of our outdoor education programmes we went to Puke Ariki museum education room. We learned about soldiers from the early colonial days in New Zealand. The teacher who showed us interesting things and talked about ‘Soldering On’ let us put on olden day army uniforms. We all worn a dog tag which identified us and had other information like what sort of blood type. Some of the other things we learned were about guns and cannons. This was an interesting visit.
